The 2022 is better then my 2021. I'm glad to see improvement.

I would like to see some sort of access panel under the helm. Right now, they just hang there. They are mostly hidden, but there's nothing stopping me from getting something caught in there and yanking on one of the wires. I don't know where everything goes, but it seems like some of the wires are just too long. It makes sense since the electronics are made to be universal, but I would think that one could clean them up a lot by clipping and reconnecting a few of the longer ones.

One of the 12V charging plugs blew my voltage indicating charger plug. I plugged a 12V fan into it, the fan ran backwards. The polarity wires were crossed. Fortunately it was beneath the galley area. No extra length of wire so I had to add extra wire, splice and heat shrink connections, with a new charger outlet. Add to it lying upside down, at full arm extension. Simple thing at the factory to do right, a complete PITA to fix myself.

Wiring is a issue for sailfish, as I mentioned in another post, my battery tray board bent significantly and I’m repairing it. As there are piles of wires-wired directly to the battery, I’m adding a bus bar to help neaten it up. Though not impossible it is a tough area to work in.

My 2018 245DC only has 2 wires to the positive battery connector: 1 to the battery switch and the other to the charger. My complaint, other than wires were left too long, is that the buss bars should have more connections. It was overly full on day one.

both baterys positive & negative had several smaller wires going to it. I will try and see what they power, the only I know for sure is the battery charger, but I have not made any attempt to track yet. I felt pretty good just getting the batteries out and called it a day. I picked up Aluminum rails yesterday and will problay put back together this weekend.
I added a new bus with breakers in the console soon after I got the boat and filled all 6 spots easily.
