All mid 2000's and up should be no wood. Tank is probably aluminum, pull your inspection plate. The 206 was the Seacraft mold that SF picked up when Seacraft initially went belly up. To be 100% sure you could call SF Denny Warren should know, he's been at SF forever.

Thanks for the reply - I am 1400mi away from the boat right now, so just trying to collect as much info as possible - very aware of this hull's tie to the SC20 (why I bought it) - will likely add tabs (bennet sports) to keep the bow down in the short chop - will decide once of put some time on it. Same on the 200hpdi - thinking the boat will fly, but a 4stroke 150 or even a merc 175/200 lightweight v6 may do better on gas - and if I like this boat as much as I think I will, it may be a worthwhile upgrade. I'm hoping this is a "goldilocks" boat for me (Ha, that's the perfect name for it - right down to the hull color!) the '01 Seacraft SC21 was a bit too big and the Dusky 217 was a bit too small (19' with a bracket and low freeboard) this one should be "just right"

I have an 2006 206 and it has a poly tank, 63 gallon. Not sure about no wood construction.
