Same! We are hosting this year. TGiving, then caroling party, then Christmas Eve (7 fish). A lot of cooking going on this time of year.

Just remembered after posting that I needed to get scungilli before it's too late. I went to Amazon to order and it says "Save more with Subscribe & Save."
Who has a scungilli subscription?!?!?

I love to mix both scungilli and calamari in my salad. One of my favorite dishes.

Man that looks great. Adding bacon to anything makes it so much better! I spatchcocked my bird and its in the oven now. |

It sure does and the other benefit, the rendered bacon fat bastes the bird while cooking. Of course I can't help myself and I baste it throughout with butter infused with tarragon, thyme, basil and garlic. Did I mention I also put tarragon butter under the skin before cooking.  |
