Does anyone have the diagram for the 3 battery setup? In this case 270CC but I suspect its the same among all models at least in recent years. The manual doesn't actually show the battery connections to the switches, just the back of the switches.
Here's what I'm trying to figure out,....how to permanently wire a shore power float charger.
If no one has this, I'll post it after I deal with it myself in a few weeks.

So im in the console. Only one VSR here. Not wired like this. Vsr only in play between the house and 1 start battery. Vsr not in play at all when main switches are OFF so a trickle charger would have to be moved to each battery individually. What is the charging capability of the engine chargers? We had a lotnof no wake and idle zones.

Normally you use a 3 bank charger with a set of leads for each battery.

The VSR's and boat wiring is irrelevant since marine battery chargers are made to go direct to the batteries. I have a two bank Promariner Prosport charger that charges both my house and start battery. I also have installed another 12v battery to run both my windlass and my 24v LP electric reel. The only way I can charge the third battery is with a simple switch that puts the 3rd battery in series with my house battery. but that's not a normal situation. I would have put in a 3 bank originally if I'd known I was going to use a 3rd battery. My suggestion would be to go to the Promariner web site, or whatever brand you are looking at and read the installation manual for a couple of different models.

Hey kbh where do you have the two bank charger mounted in your boat? Do you have pictures that you could share? I am thinking of getting a setup for my 218. I have 2 batteries and I am going to be docking my boat at a marina and dont want the batteries to die out during the week.
