It's been such a mild winter and it's still only February I said it's time. I pulled the boat out of it's winter space and moved it to the front side of my home, south side much warmer. I'll get started with the small details first 💪

I'm happy for you! I'm also happy for us since we won't be reminded of the insanely high cost of home heating oil quite so often going forward! Like we needed that reminder LOL

You’re going to love all this free time that your wife finds ways to schedule for you. Been retired since November and I still can’t find the time I want to do the things I want. I guess I have poor time management when I don't have deadlines. LOL.

Yup, taking my boat up to professional detailer this week to have it wet sanded, compounded, gel coat chips fixed and waxed! The hull is twelve years old and my sand shark color needs a major refreshing, looking forward to the end result!

Glen,
The first few years of retirement, it was great. No more competing on weekends with others for fishing spots or dock space. Only went out weekdays/weeknights and lots of them. Weekends were for boat upgrades and cleaning.
Time and age seems to get us all, so try and stay ahead of it and use your time wisely.

Thanks Richard, I'm retiring from my winter job of delivering oil. My pension from the Teamsters is fantastic. So i will close that chapter after 30 years. I'll always work at something just can't stay put. I'll just pick and choose what to do that works around fishing. |
