At least SF is finally putting real horsepower on the 27'. I wonder if the wife is open to selling the house and living on a center console...

How much longer will the madness last? My boat does everything I need it to and then some. At these prices it's why it made sense to just reinvest in my boat i.e. new paint job, seating, electronics upgrades and eventuality a repower. I'll take the savings and apply it to $3+ per gallon gas.

Stupid money. Must be quick with twin 250's I asked the salesman, he said wot 63mph, was setup for an owner with need for speed with heavy throttle tendencies. In further discussing, he said ideal setup for most would be lighter and more economical 200-225hp engines Recently came across this interesting AC boat show thread with many other brands offering comparable-sized boat $pecials - www.stripersonline.com/surftalk/topic/883213-ac-boat-show/

What a shock, the Regulator is grossly overpriced...200-225hp may be more economical but for the size, beam and weight of a 27' Sailfish hull those puppies are going to get a serious workout.
