I'm in favor of his positions on most subjects, but I do wish someone else would have been more of a contender with similar views and less negative baggage, and younger. As much as Biden gets negative news from his age-related mental sharpness, Trump isn't very far behind him in age. Makes you really pay attention to the VP running mates that get selected as they are likely to be president regardless of which party wins.

His VP pick will be interesting for sure. Only 4 years younger but decades of difference in the way he carries himself. If he didn't expose Washington in the way he did there'd be no baggage or 93 indictments. Washington will do anything and everything to keep him out.

It's manufactured negative garbage and I think Trumps mental acuity is light years ahead of mumbles. Trump has got to be one of the most resilient people on earth. Anyone that is fighting this hard in the face of extereme adversity is the candidate I want fighting for me as POTUS.
I am sick and tired of the institution hand picked do-nothing candidates that call themselves Republicans when in reality the Republican party is just the other side of the same coin, Democrat party being the other. When the institution does everything it can to try and stop a candidate, it tells me that candidate is doing the right things.

Agree If he manages to squeak this out against all odds, Trump is going to have to do a deep root canal and rid from office certain unelected bureaucrats that were behind the 2016, 2020 and 2024 election interference. Or at least stop inviting them in and giving them free room and board and medical care. We don’t do that for our needy citizens, so why are they borrowing money to do that for those here illegally?

Fingers crossed that the country remembers the record low approval ratings, the failed foreign policies and the many trips and verbal gaffs, the bad policies of spending like crazy without regard to who has to pay the bill to fund student loan bailouts, the promise of prescription medication cost freezes without showing how that would be funded (more taxes) or knowledge of how that will end up restricting access to drugs needed by many people, supposed tax breaks for those making under $400k (HA!), the illegal immigrant inflow that outpaces our own birth rates while giving away benefits unearned and undeserved to those arriving here against the law, the crime increases and homeless camps growing in many of our most democratic cities while cashless bail is used to turn criminals caught right back out into the street without punishment or responsibility for the crimes they commit, the cost increase of gas and groceries and mortgages, the stupidty of the push for electric everything from cars to cooking stoves while shutting down the production of domestic fossil fuel energy making it more scarce and costly despite the lack of viable alternative energies, the killing of young people when called a "fetus" when unwanted like they are a parasite, but blaming the fallen Roe v. Wade on the issue of fertilized embryos used for infertility treatments now being called "babies" being held up for implantation for those who want to have children...the list goes on and on as to why Mr. Biden and his team have failed to lead the country in the correct direction. We are in a mess here folks, and need to change the direction back for sure. |

This^ I read a story a few days ago about a school district in NJ that was calling a half day on the day of a solar eclipse because many of the students would be dismissed during the time of the eclipse and they were worried that despite warning the students not to look at the sun because it could damage their eyes, students might still look at the eclipse and cases permanent damage to their eyes, claiming the students are not mature enough to recognize and perceive the danger of their actions.. Same school district will allow a child to change their gender and keep that a secret from the parents. SMH. What a missed educational opportunity. When I was a kid they taught us about the danger, showed us how to use a reflecting box to view (only way to view back then) and then made us write a paper about how we viewed the eclipse, what our pets did during the eclipse and what we learned. But hey....no sense teaching kids any real world experiences.
