My boat is a 2018, this is the second time i am replacing the pump. Initially, I didn't realize you could purchase just the cartridge without the housing, so I saved $7 bucks this time! If anyone needs one the Pump is a Shurflo by Pentair Piranha 1100, the cartridge is Pentair part # 94-620-00. There is a locking screw that faces the transom of the boat, looking at the pump it is at about the 2 O'clock position, it is a philips, you have to blindly remove that, then you can unscrew the retaining ring. It's not easy to reach, but not ungodly. I sprayed a little aerosol lithium grease on the threads of the retaining ring to hopefully make life easy next time. I also added a deutsch connector so when I need to replace it I can do my splices indoors and then just plug the connector in.

I have a 2017 276DC, does your pump look similar to this?

yes, I think it's probably the same, you don't need to replace the whole pump, that blue ring on the top has a locking screw, small philips, once you remove it you can take that ring of, the pump cartridge will pull out, and just replace the cartridge.
