first item for this season's prep - get the 2006 oem t-top skin replaced last 2 days uncovered the boat and removed everything from t-top - * outriggers (some mtg bolts didn't want to loosen, light tap above and below did the trick) * vhf antenna mount and cable thru fitting (mount was fastened with only self tapping sheet metal screws through only the top side of the alum chamber? * anchor light mounting pad (this custom was needed to bridge the center gap between the radar mtg alum plates. this tall updated anchor light mounted behind the radar) * radar and strutscan mount * heading sensor * horn she's now ready for canvas shop to do their thing ($750 for white stamoid, they come to my house to remove and install, turnaround estimate 2 weeks)
impressed the orig skin held up since 2006 stamoid/weblon really good stuff
last year started developing pin holes light poke-push would hear a bit of cracking noise, but never broke through couple of small tears had been there, but they never ripped out any further hem has been dirt stained for years, they wasn't a driver in replacing, but won't miss it
in the mean time i plan on doing a thorough clean up and woody wax treatment on all alum she's a bit pitted mainly high aft half in the area of the oem pfd mesh bag, like that since i bought her in 2013 for this area will adjust effort accordingly, knowing it can't be restored to like new, and save some of my experienced body's stamina for other todo items, lol

I just restrung mine last year. I dread the day I have to take everything off to replace the canvas.

I did my 2006 last year, and replaced it with the two tone weblon (white top, mist blue bottom) from G2Outfitters on THT, and I love it. Removal and rewiring was not that bad. I also moved my VHF antenna to the edge of the t-top, rather than having it at the outrigger plate. This way I can raise the antenna without having to climb on the gunnel.
