Even if mine isn’t too bad, I can only imagine how much damage will occur once they start clean up. I assume pieces will continue to collapse as they remove debris and boats.

Wow that’s a real mess, and disheartening to say the least. I agree that the lower unit from the boat above could very well be in the live well. I think there will definitely be some cheap boats for sale from the insurance company’s. Rag’s P.S. Thanks for the update and photo.

That is tough to look at for sure. When they start moving boats and debris around, there is no telling what it will look like then.

Glad you're ok. Now it's time to see how good that policy you bought really was. Hopefully, the insurance company is easy to deal with and you're either getting repairs done quickly or out shopping for something new. Good luck!

The marina has been posting videos on facebook and sent out a mass email yesterday.
They’ve been cleaning/shoring up the big barn (which took less damage)...the plan is once they start going through the old barn (where I was) they will move boats into the big barn as they are recovered. At that point, I’ll be able to inspect things with my insurance adjuster.
There’s also been crews already fixing the docks that were damaged. They’re hoping to be able to launch boats in 2-3 weeks.
So they’ll get it sorted out eventually..great folks there and my heart goes out to them.

Jski59, did they get your boat out? Is it a total loss? Any new photos? Still amazed by the total destruction on the barn. Rag’s

Thanks for asking, but still waiting...I'll be sure and post pics when they get it out.
Been debating heading down to Destin or Pensacola and jumping on a head boat just to get on the water for a day!

Well, got some better pics yesterday...not good.
There’s a pretty large beam laying across the cockpit and pretty sure i see cracked fiberglass along the port gunnel. T-top is twisted, not to mention the other boats lower unit going through the live well.
Not surprised, but I was hoping it might be fixable. At least my dehooker appears salvageable.
Sucks.
