This is about one-third of the wood I'll burn this winter.it's blowing today so I'm cutting wood instead of fishing. I also tied the wood stove into my heating system so it gravity feeds throughout the house keeps the first floor feeling like it has radiant heat. It also cuts the furnace cycle down to about a quarter of what it would normally run because it's pulling all the hot air off the stove. It's a lot of work but it's really nice during the winter. Is that Nino's old boat in the backyard, what happened to the rest of it? Yep that's his boat. Glen had to let it dry out for a couple years before he could use it for firewood.

Interesting how the wood stove feeds the duct work in the house. Rag’s

No
NO!
Just say no to winter!
I just finally got everything reinstalled after replacing the ttop canvas, already feel like I've missed all the great fall fishing here in nc. Need a weather window on my off days to get at least one wahoo trip in before it gets to miserable / duck hunting cold temps!

The lowest we can get is around 88 degrees. I's love to see it in the 70's.

We get winter here, but usually only 1 or 2 snows lasting about a day or two each. If I'm lucky we'll take the boat out while it's snowing and just drift around with the engine off and enjoy it. Like being in the woods when it snows, but better. If we're lucky we'll see whales too. Doesn't beat catching fish, but a close second. And when we get home, a fire in the fireplace and some beef stew... Can't wait for mid-February.
