Going to harbor freight this week going to buy both. Theres a store close by both in stock. Then I can double the damage,,,lol
So Capt Ron let me run this by you. If there's wires that are very long, an I know there's many. Is it a bad idea to shorten them by cutting, splicing and seal to clean things up ?

I would agree that it's a good idea to get rid of a lot of extra wiring. I would avoid splices wherever you can. Instead if possible I would suggest that you pull the excess wiring to one end of the circuit and cut off the end and put on a new connector.
