Attachment DeletedI know its not a Sailfish, but I have to add this $2 million Scout center console. It tops out at 68 mph. That is hull #2. Nobody was allowed on it as it was sold on Thursday. The sales guy told us that they have deposits for three more with the 6 engine set-up.

I went to a local boat show this past weekend. Prices on new boats are stupid......100k plus for a mid tier 25' center console with twins.

They smoking crack! 395k for a 36 is nuts. A buddy bought a 36 yellowfin with trip 300’s and tower last year for that. New boat with twin 17 inch displays and all the bells and whistles.

That's why I kept mine and repowered it. I would love to have a bigger boat but its going to have to wait. I think this bubble will bust at some point and if gas prices go up like they did there will be alot of boats forsale.

Wiring is better but it's still a hot mess. At that price point I expect Yellowfin caliber wiring.
Why are the bases on either side of that cooler on the rear facing seat elevated off the deck? Looks weird.

A buddy of mine has his new 36 Tideline cat at Miami. His old boat (32 Regulator) was next to mine at the marina. The Tideline is a good looking cat.

Looks weird. I agree, the wiring still is not great. Whats funny is the rep i was talking to (for about 45 mins) was really proud of how the wiring has improved and how everything is just 'plug and play'. At a certain price point you expect custom wiring and not a standard wiring harness with stuff spliced in. I agree it looks kind of weird but i can see those toe kicks being useful.

Mike those Onslow Bays are built a mile from my house. I fish on a 27 on regular basis and I can say they are 1 of best fishing boats I've been on, I can tell you the 27 is my next boat would love to have the 33. That 41 is ridiculous, I could hear them running up and down the ICW testing it before they took it Miami.

That's funny Mikey, I talked to the sales guy on the wiring too. He is the guy in the 12th picture. He said that Sailfish is "paying attention" to the wiring. I pointed out to him that the speaker wires that are hooked up to the Wet Sound amplifiers are not marine grade, and that they will corrode to a powder in a year down here in Miami in a salt environment. His answer was, that this is a demo boat and that they would not do that on a production boat. I also told him that the wiring behind the switch panel is a hot mess. It looks like they just zip tied wires together.

Clearly Sailfish hasnt been paying attention. A sorry excuse.
Why they can't wire a $400k to ABYC standards is beyond me.

IMO, they are beautiful boats. The 33' used to look huge but with the 41' next to it it looked small, and the 27' looked like a dinghy.
