Out here in the GOM doing some work. No, it's not me. I'm on the vessel 500' above. The picture is from the ROV.

That is the one that broke my line. I new he was a big one.
Pretty cool shot. My brother n law works offshore, and he sent me a video of a sword fish their rov captured a few years back. Cool stuff happens around these rigs.

Cool stuff happens around these rigs. Must be. He's got two hooks and line hanging from his lip. Diver was actually able to cut some of the line off. Attachment Deleted

Looks like a Warsaw. I saw the line hanging from his lips. I have hooked a few that have broke me off.

Warsaw groupers live in deeper water, usually 300 to 400'. Goliaths prefer more shallow water

500’!? Wow, whats the decompression time like for that diver. Didnt know that was even possible? It takes about 1 day for every 100', plus one extra day for "bends" watch. They breathe a HeO2 (Heliox) mixture and stay "pressed" at depth for the entire job. This is what they sound like from the helium.....can't understand sh!t. Man lucky, that is a great photos. Got some more? I have literally thousands, but 99% of close ups of valves, piping, subsea infrastructure etc etc. Plenty of diver "Hero" shots though. The short movie are Amberjacks feeding at night. IMG_3521.MOV (9.64 MB)

That's an awesome shot. I was on a party boat charter last year and someone cranked up a warsaw that had so many hooks hanging out of it's face that it looked like a misguided teenager.
