I've got Taco. They are fine. I replaced the original 2" Taco cheapies with the better quality 2 1/8" model 270's if I recall right.

I use 15’ Taco’s, and had the same on my prior boat as well. The carbon fiber ones are really nice, I just didn’t want to spend that much when I only get offshore a few times a year.

I put 18 foot tacos on. Had them on a previous boat and they did fine, so put them on the Sailfish. I did change to 380 mounts for the Sailfish so I can fully control them from inside the boat. There is no where to stand on the sides of a 245DC to access outriggers.

I've got the Taco 270 w/15' riggers. I like the setup, but having to stand on the gunwale to deploy is a bit of a hassle/hazard.

I have Tigress 15' outriggers with the handle mounts. Installed a year ago, used 10-12 times no issues. Got a great deal from West Marine about a year ago. Both outriggers and mounts were 50% off.

Ditto But I had the ‘fall’ problem with mine. Sent them back and they were rebuilt. Just reinstalled them not too long ago. Hopefully the issue is gone.
