I found prices elsewhere....$1200-1300 range. If I’d found price first I probably wouldn’t have asked the question!
Interesting to read through the owners manual and see how aggressively it applies the tabs. I think I need to work them more. I’ve got the basic, no led indicators, switch. Because of that I bet I don’t really move them as much as I think. I need to go time how long it takes to go full up to full down and vice versa so I can get a better feel for it.
All goes back to that damn 1800-2400 rpm range she likes to ventilate in. But I know I can run the bottom end off that with tabs down and motor down....realty is I’ve learned to mostly avoid that range. But I’m looking to try some ‘high’ / higher speed trolling that I’ll need to work in that range.
New props, jackplates, auto glide system....maybe I just need a 290!!

I've read mixed reviews. Bennett has a similar system, again mixed reviews. Things like it over corrects as well as some other issues. Read where a few owners were going to rip it out to go back to manual trim tabs. A good idea in theory but maybe not so much in practice

I've always figured they were for 'less experienced' captains. From what I've read most people experienced with current trim tabs aren't too impressed. Things I wondered about was heading into large waves - would it put the tabs down enough to flatten out the waves a bit and in large following seas would it keep them up when I'm surfing down the waves? I guess they'd be fine for load balancing, but I like to have control over my tabs so I can select how they perform.

Before I bought my former 2680 in 2011, I tested a Seahunt 27 at Plantation Boat Mart in Tavernier that was equipped with it, it didn't look like the one you are showing (8 years ago)but it was very cool what I saw.

I had Bennett auto tabs on my Grady Marlin but that was a late 90's boat and system. I really enjoyed them, kept the boat level at all times. It was a simple system back then. You would set them on a calm day and level the boat the way you wanted it and then hit the set button. After that all you would do is when on plane hit the power button and the boat always stayed level no matter wind or weight distribution changes.
