Haha... yeah it was pretty bad. It was a rule 750. The new Johnson is a 1250

Was in the bilge or the forward pump?

In the forward bilge under the deck compartment. It’s set as auto only. The rear bilge pump is a Rule 2000gpm. It’s in good shape but I will upgrade it to a Johnson 2200 and maybe a USS ultimate switch with alarm.

LMAO,, never seen anything like that. I just replaced mine $63 cheap fix. I'd take a photo of that mess and send it to Rule Pump just for a laugh. Your replacement Johnson pump looks tall were you able to put the cover back in place ?

A little polish and run it 5 more years. Apparently you haven't needed it in at least as many years.

I think you may have an auxiliary blender in your bilge as well.

Wish I could have access to the entire inside of the hull to clean and inspect. Who knows what is down there.

Wow, that thing is toast! Had to replace mine this year as well but they did not look like they were beaten to within an inch of their lives like yours!

Soon after I got the boat I found that the live well would spill over from between the cap and the top of the well and run into the bilge. Once I sealed it off I have not seen any water in the bilge since. Even after a rough day with spray I dont get any water out when I remove the plug. Now that everything has been cleaned several times and no more salt water getting in I expect (hope) everything in this better enviornment will be happier.

Glad to see my forward 750 is not the only one that looked like that. I will see if I can find a picture of it. That Johnson pump looks real nice!! Rag’s
