Hello friends! So I own a 2011 2860 that i bought a few years ago that had all the cushions replaced before I bought but. I'll need to replace the port and starboard side bolsters due to sun and fishing damage. My forward seating cushions are all in great condition but are a pain in the ass to access when snapped in. I run charters here in Key West and need to access the forward fish boxes for storage a lot but they don't open all the way and people end up pulling them off. So I wanted to know if anybody has ordered and replaced the old style with the newer and shorter back rest on older hulls. If you have part numbers for the newer 290cc please let me know. Also if the install the same way or if they require new mounting hardware. Thanks Attachments:

I think you probably need a local canvas guy to do something custom. Maybe cushions that are same size and shape as fish box lids then forward one shaped appropriately to mate against it. Maybe a way to hinge the cushion over fish box? Find a good canvas guy....

I’m sure the mold for the boat hasn’t changed in awhile so the newer style cushions should be a direct fit. I have a 2860 I but like the newer style 290cc.

I would think the newer style would fit your boat. You may have to meet be some snaps so they will mate with the new cushions. I sure wish I had the newer style also. I just leave mine off when I’m fishing. To much of a pain to deal with.

I replaced all of my cushions and bolsters 2 yrs ago, ordered them direct from Llebroc. I thought about the newer style but given the installation differences etc I opted to stick with what I have. I actually love that full back rest, but I see what you mean if you charter because accessing the fish boxes is a PIA with the cushions installed.
Those forward bolsters likely attached with Christmas tree fittings like your rear bolsters or clips which means you will have drill holes in either case. Agree with Richard they should all fit, but the snaps will likely be in different locations, so you'd have to add new snaps.
Llebroc makes the cushions but they won't change the color to match your existing cushions/bolsters so your color choices will be limited to those that SF selected for that cushion style.
Agree too that it might make the most sense to contact a local cushion fabricator and something custom made/installed. Cost will probably be similar to what Llebroc charges.

The only thing I didnt replace was my leaning post backrest. I think for everything it was around $3300. Contact Lebroc and they will provide an estimate for exactly what you need
