I was amazed to read that the weight of the new Mercury 225 is right around the same weight as the F150. Wow!
Boy would I like to see how super light twin V6 225's would push my boat!

Not very fast sitting in the shop ha ha. I’m not a mercury fan. True! Lol I wasnt either but man I am getting tired of the corrosion stories with Yamaha. Having been on a friends 30 Whaler with vrods was impressed with how quiet they were at cruise vs my F150s and the torque.

I’m just messing with you. Mercury is building a nice motor now. I have been really impressed with Suzuki also. I have been on a buddies 31 Prowler with twin Zuk 300’s and a buddies 36 Tideline with twin Zuk 350’s. Really quiet with a ton of torque.

I'd buy a set of rowing oars before a Mercury. Lol...
