What a pain in the a$$. Removed both batteries and unscrewed tray they sit on to trace wires to see how they were connected. Couldn’t get to the connection so I just cut wires at the pump and made a new splice there with but connection. Either way I believe my sw pump is starting to go out as well so that’s going to be a job for another day.

After reading all the posts on this over the years, I've been dreading ever having to do this. I noticed my live well pump on my 218 wasn't working, and thought Uh!Oh! However, the light isn't coming on the switch, so maybe it's a control issue? My breaker isn't tripped. I guess I need to start tracing at the console to see if there's power to the pump. So much for slow trolling with livies on Saturday...
