Any tricks for removing the stairs that lead into the cabin on a 2660 WAC. The forward bilge and the sump pumps are located beneath the stairs and I am not going to try to work around them. The screw heads on mine are beat to sh*t and know I know why. They are through bolted, so over the years the previous owner tried removing them thinking they are lags, I thought the same until I reached under with the phone and snapped a pic. I am moving forward with a more aggressive plan B but wondered if there were any success stories?

How did you end up getting them off?

Can we get an answer? I'm fighting with this right now.

I had no luck getting a wrench in there. I drilled a 4 or 5 inch hole in the fish box and put in a round access hatch.

Being that I have a center console I am not familiar with your layout. Hopefully the access port will work out for you.
