I agree, that doesn't look too bad. I have a pair of '06 250s that I hope to keep running for a long time, so other than the exhaust here's a couple other issues to keep an eye on.
1. Timing belt. F250 is an interference engine so if it lets go, boom. I just replaced both of mine last month and it's not too bad but you have to pull or move the bulk of the wiring harness, which is a PIA...I would highly recommend buying a shop manual. My motors only have 400 hours but I think Yamaha specs belt replacement at 1000 hours or 5 years.
2. Had an engine quit on me 50 miles out and spent a good number of weekends chasing the problem...engine ran fine at speed but if you let it idle awhile it would stall and eventually it wouldn't run at all. The problem ended up being a bad low pressure/lift fuel pump...BUT, I also had a bad pressure relief check valve in the fuel line feeding the VST pump. Apparently, when this check valve goes bad it just bypasses fuel constantly which leads to the pump burning up...and is a common (and confusing) problem on those model engines. So if you wrench yourself, just something to keep in mind. Good luck and enjoy her!

Very much appreciated info. Yes, I try to do most of wrenching. Buying from original owner. He had all service work done by the same Yamaha Cert. marina. I will check service records for belt change. I had the same problem with my 01 200 HPDI. That I just sold. Would stall only at extended idle. I would have to pump the bulb to get it started. Would run all day at anything above idle. Changed fuel pumps and VST. Seemed to take care of the issue.
Thank You
