I cannot promise that I can accommodate all of the suggestions, whether it be due to limitations of the forum or otherwise, but the moderators will read every suggestion and give it consideration.
I want this to be a site created and managed by Sailfish boat owners, for Sailfish boat owners or potential owners.

Is there a quick way to click and get to the last post in a thread? I don't think there's a way to go to the last post. On some forums you can change the view order from oldest to newest (the default for most forums), to newest to oldest (gets a little awkward when everyone else views it the other way). Alternatively, if you scroll down near the end of the main forum page, you'll find a section called "Forum Information & Statistics". Just below that heading, you'll see "Threads and Posts". Click the "Recent Threads" link to show all the threads that contain new posts within. I bookmark this address, so I always see the newest threads when visiting the forum. |

I've been trying to decide in which sub forum to post my graphic design services, but the existing ones don't really fit. How about a "Do Business With a Forum Member" sub forum? Or a more general "Recommended Businesses" or "Find a Business" sub forum. Something along those lines... where members can advertise their business, or seek recommendations from other members. ie: "I need a good canvas shop." etc. |

Glad you found us. I am planning to make a post on the other site to inform everyone, was just trying to get a few things squared away. Your suggestion is a good one. It would seem a logical place for this would be under the Owners Resource board. We will chat about it and figure something out. |

I find it the most convenient way to get to the last post in a thread I'm following, one action on the keyboard and I'm there. |

Ron - when you enter a board and see the topics, you do have the option to click on the last number in the sequence under the topic which will take you to the last page, just not the very last post. I believe once the pages get up to 8, "Last" will show up.
I know what your talking about when clicking on the "Last" and being taken to the most recent post. I just haven't figured out a way to make that happen yet.

Ron not sure if you noticed, but if you're on the main dash board and click on a thread, it takes you to the last post. Progress, baby steps... Thanks Chris. I checked it out and that does work, so I took it a step further and found that when I go into a section and click on the word "New" just to the left of the title of the thread that also takes me to the last post in a thread. That's what I was looking forward, so thanks for getting me to look a little deeper! |

However, the good news is most of the knowledge behind that content is here, we will simply have to make our own content.  |
