Actually based on some information you just posted let's try something else first. Disconnect the diode jumper, you can just pull off one side of it and it makes no difference which side you pull. Now when you flip to the NAV position what happens? If the anchor light still turns on the wiring of the harness was modified before you bought the boat. If the anchor light does not come on then the problem may be confined to just the diode. removing the diode bridge piece, the switches function the same as with it. NAV is bow light (red.green) only, and ANC is pole light in stern only.

OK, now we're getting somewhere. At some point the previous owner had trouble getting the anchor light to function properly and has bypassed the anchor light on the switch somehow. On the large Molex connector on the back of the pcb look for a gray wire, this is the nav light wire. Check to see if you can find where they would have installed a jumper to tie this wire into a grey wire with a white trace on it. It should be something fairly obvious that is not factory wiring, this would be where they tied anchor light into the nav lights. The grey wire with the white trace is the anchor light wire that Sailfish installed.
Do you have a test light or a VOM?
