Very nice! I like the wood, and the ridge around the edge. I actually bought 2 drop-in cupholders as well and I may cut two similar holes, but I'm going to see if they are actually needed or perhaps people will use the ones down below the table. We'll see. Biggest handicap on my cheapo version is the top is slippery.... a platter could slip right off the table even when anchored if the right wake were to come through... So I've got some of that tacky shelf liner fabric on order to use as a full coverage placemat. Maybe over the winter I'll spring for some teak wood stock, stop by my neighbor's shed to use his band saw, and break out my router table to make something nice. Where do you stow the table when not in use? S

The table base snaps into the back of the table and the whole thing I keep inside the console. There are actual brackets that can be mounted on the console walls, to secure the table to the wall, but I have not installed them. I just rest the table on its edge inside the console.
