Yes I have an electrical head. It is located behind the front wall under the console.

I don't have an electric head but I know the one in the rear is leaking. Possibly my next project... Thanks for the information.

I know he figured it out but why do these 236’s hold water in the forward bilge? Seams like the transom should always be the lowest spot in any boat??

It seems that the 236 is bow heavy for some reason. I thought that I had it figured out however it seams that it may still be leaking :-(

Sorry to hear that. I think in thread above most every possible source has been mentioned, you just need to start checking and eliminate one at a time.

I owned a 236 that collected water. I noticed it happened when the live well was operating. Had a leak in the bottom of the pump. Also, had to reseal the live well as water was leaking out of the well into the bilge.

Couple other spots to look at with boat in water, where trim tab wires go through transom, and any transducer wires. No telling what they may have been sealed with previously.

AS I mentioned earlier and did Reelkul, the two splash well drain tubes are prime targets for leaks. Also I'd be suspicious of the caulking at the transom corners of the rub rail. In fact I just re caulked mine yesterday because holes were showing in the old caulking between the caulking and the transom.

Those splashwell drains, are they 1” or 1.25” OD?
