That’s a great question. They are 1” however if you use 1” brass tubes they are to small. You have to use the plastic push together tubes. Found this out after driving 2.5 hrs round trip to get the brass ones thinking that they would be much better then the plastic tubes.

Well then I may be good! Couldn’t get the chromed ones as they only had one in stock so just did white again.
Replaced gaskets in splashwell deck plates. Some reduction in water. Pulled the whole plate out and silicone was no longer attached to the ring of the plate. Had mold/mildew all the way across. Cleaned old stuff off, reinstalled with new 3m silicone. Will go back tomorrow and finish tightening screws down and see what’s what.
2 of 3 of those splashwell drains leak, so when parts get here will tackle that.
None of that was going to sink the boat, I think water mostly got in while loading onto trailer, but the more I can keep out the better right?

I was surprised how much water could get in from those two little drain tubes just with wave action splashing constantly while anchored or bottom fishing. All the caulking was hard, cracked, and dissipated when I first got the boat.

So the live well was leaking threw the drain. Removed it and re bedded it. Just re bedded and replaced the o ring the inspection plate in the motor well. New tubes are in. Yes the wiring of the pumps are a bit odd. The front pump is wired direct to batt. The rear pump is switched

That was not the cause of the water in the hull however. Hopefully these repairs will take care of the problem.

You have the leaning post with live well? If so look around the top of the livewell insert inside leaning post. I had large gaps in there I had to fill. Large enough I had to get filler material and then caulk it. Only an issue with a full livewell, so not really the scenario you describe in original post.

So I ran a hose on the rear motor well access hatch and it leaked like a sieve so I replaced the entire unit. Then fired up the bait pump and found that didn’t work so that was replaced as well. Once that was replaced I installed a ball valve between the pump and live well so that I can turn off the water flow to the well when the threw Hull is opened. Then filled the live well to find that too was leaking from the drain. So I removed the drain and re bedded it. Checked everything out and looks good so far. No leaks!! Thanks everyone for your time and input to help resolve this problem.

I had the same issue with the splash well drain tubes. Last year had some infrequent bilge pumps starting up. Didn't worry about it then really. This year on one trip I had the rear bilge pump coming on every 15 mins for a few seconds. Was driving me crazy. Used a flashlight and looked into the bilge area and could see wetness directly underneath one of the splash well drain tubes when some small waves hit the stern while drift fishing. The drain tube had a small gap. I could move it a bit too. Put some 4200 I had on-hand around the tubes. Problem solved.
