Nice. I am going to put them on my 2660. How long are they? What’s the exact distance from the keel to where the start. Curious to hear your thoughts when you run with them.

Well hopefully he updates us soon. As thinking on putting them also and if it is worth it. As u know already sailfish boats are very wet boats.

I just can't get past the look of them but then again I am super anal retentive with my "toys" Also, given the beating they will take I wonder how long they will hold up.

Well not only how they hold up. But would he handle in like say following seas would it make the ride better
As I know it will get the plain faster and keep the spray down I heard

I think I’d install all the way to stern for the extra lift aft, but I just can’t get over the look of them. Also wonder if there is any issue loading and unloading trailer with a trailer that has guide posts. Might have to move them out a little??

I love the Sailfish 275DC and have gone on a test ride two times now. The first time I found the boat to have an incredibly wet ride in what I considered to be not so horrible conditions. Yesterday, the dealer took me out and he seemed more versed in how to trim the boat out and handle it. It was drier (although the conditions were better). Also, he did seem to constantly be adjusting tabs and engines. Are these smart rails a response to a typically wet ride that the Sailfish has? Although I really like the boat, the ride is without a doubt the most important feature that I am looking for. Any help in this very difficult decision would be much appreciated.

Either I have different expectations, or the 245DC is a drier ride than the 275DC. I have no complaints about the 245DC from a wet boat standpoint. I've had it out in nasty weather and waves, and yes there was spray, but no more than I'd expect for the conditions. When it's a normal day on the ocean off Virginia Beach the boat is dry. After hearing about the wetness issues I added a windshield wiper. Now I've hardly ever used it. I don't work the trim tabs or engine trim once set as I want them until I'm changing directions. I will say if it's rough going too slow or too fast into waves, or at the wrong angle can make the boat wet. Knowing how to handle conditions can make a lot of difference in the comfort of the ride and the wetness.

So much so that I'm surprised to hear guys with other models complain about wet rides.
