Well I certainly added some Friday night excitement - now that you guys probably hate me - hopefully you will answer any of my questions and forgive my periodic rants.

Back to the topic at hand, I've seriously considered filling up the boat now even though it's sitting in my driveway for the winter while gas is at $2.67 per gallon. Since the inclusion of ethanol I've always kept the boat full or almost full in winter to limit the intrusion of moisture in the fuel tank. Read so many conflicting reports on how to keep your fuel tank in winter, but as I take it out fairly often in winter I figure keeping it full might help.

I don't hate anybody for not having the same views as I do, I just respectfully disagree. And I would never not answer a boating question of yours because we see things in a different way. Full or nearly empty with a heavy dose of Star Tron or Sta Bil is how I roll. I usually run it down and fill her up at the pump before I splash. That way shes got a tank full fresh gaz.

Funny I had the same thoughts today. I dread the days of spending 600 bucks to put 130 gallons in the boat been there done that and hopefully it never happens again

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That's not how we roll here. Boy if you were around back in the old days of the old forum, the shit that used to go down there, the trash talking, insults and ball busting. The next day it was like nothing happened. Gawd those were some entertaining times...

This winter I opened up the tank and drained every ounce of fuel out of the tank.

You had to have some thick skin to be on the old forum. It was so much fun I couldn't wait to get home from work to get on and laugh.

Gas here is now $2.22. Was $1.89 first of December. I keep the boat full at all times except during the summer when I’m fishing every weekend. I only fill it up when going long when I’m running it regularly.

Gas at the marina was 3.19 the last I checked. I imagine it will be $4 by June.

It is 91 octane and non ethanol. But it hurts when you have to put 200-240 gallons in at a time.
