My was 1/2 full - hopefully I will not have any problems in the spring - they put in a new water separator Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It's not just the water. Sadly it's also the loss of octane. It's a long story, but the net of it is I lost an inboard engine to bad octane years back. Lots of possible causes, bacteria, ethanol separation, etc. Mostly comes from failing to put stabilizer in the tank and having an exceeding long maintenance period without running the engine (my previous volvo mechanic should be tarred and feathered and run out of town).
Anyway, short of it is, even thought I use Valvtech gasoline I still add Sta Bil in the winter to avoid water absorption or other gasoline problems. I'd buy non-ethnol gasoline, but the only marine selling it is over 25 miles away by boat and a hefty toll if trailering across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. You should be fine if you added a stabilizer. If not, add it before filling up and fill up before using the boat ( or do like finatic and drain the tank first ).
I’ve ever only put in something called slipstream gas at the marina - hopefully when the marina winterized the boat they put stabilizer in it. I will fill up and add stabilizer as soon as I can once the boat is in the water. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I know you can’t wait. I’m excited for you. Yeah you put deposit down just like with Freeman for a spot in line and then wait, wait, wait and did i say wait until you go in the mold. Once you get into the mold it takes about 10-14 weeks to deliver.

Should take delivery in October. I have enjoyed helping him lay it out. Spending his money not mine.

I'm hearing from guys that are having boats built and went with Yamaha power, that decision has extended their wait even more because there is no Yamaha inventory, as-in boats were supposed to be delivered last year are just sitting at the factory still.

Yeah I looked hard at the 33-36 Yellowfin/SeeVee/Invincible until I fished a friends Onslow Bay a few times. In my opinion no comparison and I have fished a lot of boats.

That was our problem too getting parts and engines etc. I was supposed to have it 6 months ago.

Now I remember that's going to be awesome. It's crazy the boat building industry is swamped. It's a good thing you got your deposit in when you did cuz I'm sure the price of that build has risen considerably

Engine cost is up if you can find them and on and on. But yes I'm grateful I Locked in all my pricing pre COVID and then new administration. "Gilm this is when you hit the back button"

Gas on Florida is now at $2.49 up about.40 since Mid January. And these policies.....I can’t even watch to news without getting sick to my stomach to think how quickly he will destroy our country and keep wondering WHAT THE HELL ARE PEOPLE THINKING! Just don’t understand how someone can think these policies are beneficial for our country. Ok that’s it. I won’t post anything else other than fishing and boating.
