Looks like it was supposed to be routed through that opening in the center along with the wires.

Good picture. It's what I could only partially see with the scope camera and makes it clear what the problem is. It explains why it will work for awhile after I force water thru. I may route the center drain thru to the bilge as I get tired of cleaning up the center storage trough. I don't use the galley sink normally, so it can go ahead and drain slowly.
Wish it had been something simple to fix. Thanks for your efforts as now 245DC owners know what the problem is.

Wow, that is a royal manufacturing f-up! I would send it to Sailfish and make them aware. Do you think that you may be able to add a spice in there and route it through the opening.

Sailfish (Aaron) offered to see if they could fix it if I brought the boat there. In.my case with no trailer it doesn’t make sense for me, but others could see if they’d extend the offer to them. There are several , if not all, 245 owners with the same issue.

I spoke to sailfish. They have a 245DC hull just ready for the deck and are going to see if they can devise a fix. I expect to hear from them by the end of the week. Comments on previous comments:
Yes, hose should be in stringer drop. The wires are secured and routed just fine. Drain hose should have been secured in same manner in same space. The engineer/designer/spec person should have had line listed to be secured. The person who appled the adhesive foam, just prior to deck being lowered, saw the problem and ignored it, appartently multiple times.....

I have to admit I'm impressed that Sailfish wrote up a formal document with the fix, and even though it is pretty basic it is helpful because when you are asked to cut holes it isn't always clear where to do so because you don't know what is behind the panel you are cutting into. Hopefully they provided the parts at no charge to you, and will do so for others with the same issue since it sounds like a pretty common problem for this model.

I sent Aaron a request for the parts. Hopefully he'll send them, but if not I'll procure locally as that's better than draining it into the bilge.

I dont know about them providing the parts, they might. when I cut the hole I already had the access hatch $11.00, and the hose is just heater hose, which I'll get local, guessing $15.00. as usual, once everything is visable the cause and solution are not to hard. Cutting holes in perfectly good fiberglasss always has a bit of danger associated with it

Let SF know...Rev B document should be issued to correct that! Surprised that with two approvers for the document that little detail was missed!

Has anyone tackled this yet as per the Sailfish .pdf, and had success? I just tried and the speaker hole is to far forward to reach the thru hull. I can see it, but I cant reach it. I'm thinking about just putting a shallow glove box there or I just may ignore it. A downside to that is that, without a bow cover, alot of rain water ends up going down the hatch, which makes the forward bilge pump run. My boat is under cover alot but not always and I dont have the charger plugged in all the time either.
