Attachment DeletedHeres how to win. Using abouttime2fish's idea this is what to do. Were looking for projects, or upgrades you did to your boat until Xmas day. The projects have to be under a budget of $500. You MUST post photos of your project, no photos, no entry. Were not going to pick the coolest upgrade to difficult. The more upgrades you post the more chances you have to win. Were going to put everyone's name who posted into a bowl and pick the winner Xmas day. So lets share your boat upgrades and pass your ideas over to other Sailfish owners. This is a nice reel that anyone of could use. Good luck, and post um up.

Just a quick rating on reel, I currently own 4, have caught many tuna in 80lb range with them, this years short chunk bite the one setup I had on charter boat hooked /caught 3/4 of the total bites.
There are potential issues where foot ties into reel body, I would load test at home, Zebco will replace if frame breaks.
Otherwise amazing reel load with 400yds 65lb braid, will hold up to 40 lbs drag,
GREAT gift.

Although with a new boat most of my upgrades have exceeded $500, I do have a couple less than 500. Do you want them posted here, or in DIY?

Added GX2200 with AIS and connected it to the chartplotter. Had to move a few things before cutting out the hole, but otherwise it went smoothly. your #001----001----001

You should get extra credit for the steering wheel. Is that something you added?

Deduction for dirty footlocker. Powermania single bank battery charger and receptacle installed. No doubt that's two demerits Chris. because the Foot Locker was so dirty you're going to start off with a negative one chance to win

Heres how to win. Using abouttime2fish's idea this is what to do. Were looking for projects, or upgrades you did to your boat this year 2017 until Xmas day. Did you mean to say 'this year 2017'? Are we including 2017 projects or just 2018 projects? Just 2018, my mistake. Here is my first entry: Re-caulked the coming boards with black caulk. your #002,,,,002,,,,002

Nice Richard, your number 001 when we draw the winner. If you post another project we will enter your number twice.

While adding the Autopilot the difference in the Uflex hose size forced me to cut a deck plate into the side of the boat, and get the right fittings to add the 3/8 inch autopilot hose into the Uflex hoses. Before dropping them back into the boat I covered them in D foam to keep the connections from bouncing around in the bottom.

Dang mikey will have 10,000 entries with all his projects. That's what i was hoping but it looks like 2018 was a slow year for boat projects. If 2017 was included then i would be in good shape. Does replacing the low pressure fuel pump three times, cleaning the VST tank twice, replacing all fuel filters 3+ times, flushing out and cleaning the fuel tank and pulling the injectors to have them cleaned count? Oh wait....that definitely didn't stay under $500............
