This year proved to be one of expensive upgrades, but I’ll highlight a few of the more affordable ones. The first was replacing my worn ttop with with a new Weblon Ttop from G2 Outfitters. Very wellmade, relatively easy to replace, and looks great. Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Second project was replacing my Sony headunit with a new Fusion RA70. Unfortunately 2 minutes into what I’d thought would be a plug and play I learned I’d have to fabricate a new panel as the Fusion headunit had a different profile than my Sony! Never fails! Ended up picking up some Carbon Fiber 3/8” Acrylic and mounted things up good as new. Love the features of the new headunit and “App” control of it from your phone. Carbon Fiber looks better than this pic shows. Attachment Deleted

Last of my “smaller projects included relocating my all-around light from the bow to the stern of my ttop and increasing its height to be visible above my new open array radar. I found a nifty little clamp on plate that allowed me to not have to drill into my ttop which I attached to the stern ttop and mounted the light to it. Attachment DeletedI then disassembled my existing light, puchased a new piece of aluminum tubing that I cut to 24”. Extended some wiring and a few rivets later had all back together. Okay your number ......014......014......014....... Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Dam Capt.Ron that sounds as easy as wiring a new rocker panel switch... lol I can tell you it's a talent I'd like to have. I think back to times where it would have been so handy to go home and design something and then be able to produce it. I would have never guessed Mikey had made them himself had he not said so, pretty cool!

Not sure if this is an upgrade or repair but I see the new ttop cover above. Had the storage net replaced at the same time. Previous top partially removed by hurricane florence. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Last one was a leaning post cover. Price? Free! Guess I’ve been keeping my canvas guy busy with referrals! I was away when he brought it over unexpectedly. I had my wife give him some $$ anyway. Super nice guy. Think he was cleaning out remnants and had the material from when he made my curtains, but the embroidery was way above and beyond! Attachment Deleted

Dam Richard the guys are knocking this give away out of the park. We now have 14 guys entered with multiple chances to win. Going to be a nice Xmas gift for someone and some great projects to have documented on our site.

This has been the best thread yet. I really enjoy looking at all the projects. If it will stop raining, I’m planning on adding two electric reel outlets and an onboard battery charger this weekend.
Keep them coming guys. It may help a fellow boarder down the road.

I'll throw another one out there. I got tired of the 3 drawer tackle locker in the back cause everything rusted. That one became storage space for a cast net and I put the tackle drawers under the center of the console, right beneath the front seat. So far it's worked out great. You can't have enough storage space, can you?

I’ve got an idea for someone, who has a great gaff storage project? I troll 5-6 lines and keep 2 gaffs. 6’ ends up in random rod holders and never in reach when you want it. I keep a 4’ hooked over one of the ttop tubes next to the helm so I can grab it on the way to the action.
Someone must have something better!
