Fresh bottom paint! 100 Gallons of fresh fuel. Getting ready to splash!
View AttachmentI just finished detailing mine and bottom paint is done, hate that job. Waiting for two time slots first timing belts second auto pilot. Since I don't paint mine anymore, I can only tell what others do to get their boats painted. Two bikini clad girls were painting the bottom of a boat when I had mine put up to wash. They were very efficient and I thought if I was going to paint mine, I'd hire them. Much more interesting to watch them than to paint it myself. Although, I have to admit, they could have missed a spot or two and I'd never have noticed.

So I'm remiss to share this here but here goes... ...I blamed lapse on the forum since I was so busy taking pics of my annodes for thr forum I must've gotten distracted. And we all thank you for taking one for the team! LOL but also grateful that this one was an easy fix! To a good season where nothing more serious than a missed spark plug wire occurs all season!

View AttachmentI'm jealous mine is still in my driveway. On the brighter side the water is still to cold, nothing much happening with fishing yet.

If I only used my boat for fishing I'd never use my boat.

I ran my ole girl this weekend. She ran like she did the day I brought her home. We now have 3 Sailfish at our marina. My 2860, a 270 and a 320.

Compounding, my arms and shoulders just love it!! Bottom paint hopefully this week, the weather here has been awful, cold and rainy. I am way behind where I normally am at this time of year.

I have used that the past few seasons but upgraded to the Smoove Pro Cut 2500 this year, the stuff is amazing! Highly recommend!

In theory the 2500 should be less abrasive and provide a higher degree of polish.
The 1000 is great stuff and would expect for those that don't need the heavy cut of 1000 the 2500 should be great too.

I was all set to put mine in last Saturday. It was a real crappy weekend with a lot of rain and wind. So....I decided to wait until this weekend. So far, the weather looks good.

It must be relatively new to their line up.
